BUDHI BIRTTI

A person with awakened mind, MUNN, is first have doubts whether to follow the old Brahmnical tradition or the New Gospel of spirit. Such a person was called a SUNNMUKH but a person who took to cheating the simpletons for money, they are called MUNNMUKHS.

Those who put their trust in AKAAL PURAKH, Allah, they are GURMUKHS. A Gurmukh is a contented person, who leads a simple life contented with his lot. There is no question of cheating or misleading people but rather serving them to earn the wealth of Akaal Purakh. In short, a true Gurmukh is a Mussallman as defined by Satguru Nanak Devji:-

MUSSALLMAN MOOM DILL HOWAE; ANTAR DI MAEL DILL TAE DHOWAE.

That is, a true Mussallman is a merciful person, who washes his internal dirt of Kaam, Karodh, Lobh, Moh and Hankaar over his heart. The word Mussallman stands for a person with firm, Mussallum, faith, Eemaan, in Allah. They should be differentiated from Mohammadans, the disciples of Mohammad. In Baani, Mohammadans are referred to as TURK, MUNNMUKH for their policy to pronounce others as infidels, KAFIRS, and then loot their property in the name of their Allah whereas in True Allah, you do not do that at all.

A person cannot be merciful if he is not contented but greedy. Further, a person cannot be contented if he is not a truthful person but a liar. So, now you can judge for yourself what type of Mussallmans are these Mohammadans. That is why Satguru Nanak Devji said:-

MUSSALLMAN KAHAWAN BARRA MUSHHKILL.......................

As a Gurmukh is a firm believer of Akaal Purakh, then he has a great desire to acquire His Treasures, NAAM. This is stressed in the third line of Japji Sahib:-

BHHUKHIAN BHHUKH NAA UTTRAE; JAE BANAH PURIAN BHAR.

He is always in the SAEHEJ AAWASTHA, a cool-headed person. The religious charms he relishes are described in the Third LAVN:-

HAR TEEJHRRI LAVN MUNN CHAU BHHAYAA, BAERAAGHIYAA, BAL RAM JEO;

...........................................................................................................................................................

.....................................................................................MUKH BOLI HAR BAANI;

...................................................................HAR UPJAE MUNN BAERAAGH JEO.

A Gurmukh has no love for the material world but for Allah and to serve Him and Him only. Such a person is ready to leave this secular life as the Khalsas and the Nirmallae Sants do.
